1Information you give us directly

When you register an account, request a demo, or download our software, we collect:

Registration details: full name, business name, city, business nature, project requirements, budget range, email address and phone number.
Account credentials: your password, which we store as a secure hash — we never store or can view your plain-text password.
Google sign-in: if you sign in with Google, we receive your email address and basic profile information via Google's OAuth service, instead of asking you to set a password.
Communications: anything you send us directly over WhatsApp, phone or email — for example, demo requests or support questions.

2Information collected automatically

When you choose a software download or package on our site, we log your selection — the product, version, install type (PC/USB) and plan type (Full Version/Subscription) — along with your IP address, purely to understand demand across products and packages. This download log does not include your name or other personal details.

3Cookies & sessions

Our website uses a session cookie to keep you logged in after you register or sign in, and a short-lived state token during Google sign-in to protect against cross-site request forgery. We don't use these sessions for advertising or cross-site tracking.

4License verification data

Our software checks a locally-stored license file against this computer's unique fingerprint each time it opens, as described on our License Verification page. This check runs entirely offline, on your own machine — it does not transmit any data to us, and does not include your business data, ledger entries or customer records, which stay on your own local machine. We only receive information about your license when you choose to send it to us yourself (for example, an Activation Code over WhatsApp to request or renew a license file).

5Your business data stays with you

Once our software (Girvi Management System, Jewellery Inventory & Billing, or Pharmacy Management) is installed, its server and database run entirely on your own local machine, with no connection to the internet. Alankar Web Solutions, its owner, and any entity of Alankar Web Solutions have no access whatsoever to that local machine or the data stored on it — we cannot view, monitor or recover it. Responsibility for that data rests solely with you, as also set out in our Terms & Conditions.

6How we use your information

To create and manage your account, and deliver license files after payment confirmation.
To respond to demo requests, support questions and general enquiries.
To understand demand across our products, versions and packages.
To contact you about your license, installation, or updates relevant to the product you use.

7Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only where necessary to operate our services — for example, with Google when you choose to sign in with your Google account — or where required by law.

8Data retention

We retain account and registration information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide support, honour license and warranty terms, and meet legal obligations. Download-selection logs are retained in aggregate to understand product demand.

9Your rights

You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by writing to alankarwebsolutions@gmail.com or support@alankarwebsolutions.in. Note that we cannot access or delete data stored in your own local software installation — see Section 5 above.

10Changes to this policy

We may update this privacy policy from time to time as our products and services evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our website or software after an update means you accept the revised policy.
