1Our products & services

Alankar Web Solutions builds offline, secure business software for jewellers, bankers and pharmacies, and designs custom websites & web apps for other businesses:

Girvi Management System — an offline banking-ledger system for sarafa families and bankers, available as a Full Version (one-time purchase) or Subscription (yearly), on PC or USB installation.
Jewellery Inventory & Billing — currently in Beta, offered as an add-on alongside the Girvi Management System.
Pharmacy Management System — coming soon, currently open for early demo registration.
Custom Web Work — custom websites and web apps for hotels, restaurants, schools, clinics, retail and other businesses, quoted after a free discovery call.

2Accounts & registration

To download software, request a demo or engage our services, you may need to create an account with your name, business name, city, business nature, contact email and phone number, or sign in with Google. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity carried out under your account.

3License & dedicated-machine activation

Every installation of our software — whether on a PC or a USB drive, and under either Full Version or Subscription — comes with a license file that activates the software for one dedicated computer only. The price of every package covers both the software and this license file together; they are not sold separately.

A PC installation's license file is tied to that specific computer — the software files cannot be copied and used on another computer.
A USB installation's license file is likewise tied to the one machine it was activated on — the USB cannot be used or updated on a different computer.
At every launch, the software verifies your license file against this computer's unique fingerprint — entirely offline, with no internet connection required. See our full License Verification page for how this works.

This dedicated-machine activation exists to protect the software from piracy and unauthorised copying, and it is what lets us offer the safety and support commitments described in these terms to every genuine customer.

4Current version & upgrades (Full Version)

Full Version packages (PC Installation and USB Installation) are sold on the current version of the software at the time of purchase. If an improved or upgraded version is released later, it must be purchased separately — it is not included automatically with a past Full Version purchase. Subscription plans include updates for as long as the subscription stays active.

5Reinstallation charges (Full Version)

Reinstallation within 1 year of the original installation date: 50% of current MRP.
Reinstallation after 1 year from the original installation date: 100% of charges, as per the prices applicable at that time.

Subscription packages include reinstallation with no separate charge for the duration of the active subscription.

6AMC — Annual Maintenance (Full Version)

If an issue occurs after installation on a Full Version package, you may choose either an Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC) at ₹1,200/year, or a pay-per-visit charge of ₹800 per online visit, with no AMC commitment. Support visits are handled online/remotely from our office — there is no need for our team to visit your shop in person. Subscription packages already include support & updates with no AMC charge for the duration of the active subscription.

7USB pen drive — provided by you

Alankar Web Solutions does not supply the USB pen drive — whether it's used to run the software (USB Installation/Subscription packages) or purely for backup, you provide your own pen drive. We'll recommend the spec/capacity that works best for your package, and set it up as part of installation.

Your responsibility: since the pen drive is yours, its safekeeping and any replacement if it's lost, damaged or stops working — at any time — is entirely your responsibility, not ours.

8Server & database responsibility

Once installation is complete, responsibility for the server and database lies entirely with you. This is because the server and database run on your own local machine and have no connection to the internet — Alankar Web Solutions, its owner, and any entity of Alankar Web Solutions have no access whatsoever to that local machine, and therefore cannot monitor, maintain or recover that database. If any issue arises with the data fed into it after installation, that responsibility rests solely with you.

9Payment terms

All charges for our software packages are prepaid. Once payment is confirmed and you send us the Activation Code shown on your installation, we generate and deliver your license file the same day. For custom web work, pricing is finalised after a free discovery call based on actual scope, with payment terms agreed per project.

10Custom web work

Custom websites and web apps are quoted as starting ranges based on your location (local to Budaun & Bareilly, or pan-India) and finalised after a free discovery call based on the actual scope of work agreed with you.

11Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time as our products and services evolve. The "Last updated" date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of our software or services after an update means you accept the revised terms.
